Carers of West Lothian is committed to providing a high quality, accessible service. We welcome any comments you may have on the quality of service you received or on any aspect of our service.
Do you have a complaint?
Carers of West Lothian will listen to and take all complaints seriously. We will try to resolve your complaint, if possible, to your satisfaction. If you are unhappy with the quality of service or the manner in which the service was provided please tell us about it. You can do this informally by telling the person you have been dealing with, or formally using the following process.
How to make a complaint
The first thing you should do is contact the person with whom you were dealing with or the Carers of West Lothian Manager and give them details of your complaint.

If you are not satisfied with our response to your complaint you can appeal in writing to the Chair person of Carers of West Lothian’s Board who will investigate the complaint and make a written response within one month.
You can make a complaint in person, by letter, email or via our website. It is important when contacting us, that you provide as much information as possible. This will help us to deal with your complaint quickly and efficiently. We aim to provide you with a full reply within 10 working days, but if this is not possible we will keep you informed of progress and advise you when a full reply can be expected.
