Enjoy a family day out with our Community Passes

Carers of West Lothian offer free access to local attractions throughout the Lothians. Have a look below to see what attractions we currently offer day passes to!

Five Sisters Zoo

Our pass for Five Sisters Zoo allows 2 adults and 2/3 children entry for the day. (Depending on the availability of pass).

Located in West Calder, the zoo hosts over 165 different species from around the world! Entry with our pass allows access into the zoo’s grounds, any additional activities (including the soft play area) come at an additional cost.

Almond Valley Heritage Centre (Mill Farm)

Our pass for Almond Valley allows entry for 2 adults and 4 children.

Almond Valley was created at the heart of the old Livingston Mill and has built up to become a much-loved attraction with a whole variety of activities! There’s a host of friendly animals to meet, the shale oil museum, and play areas alongside luscious meadows and woodlands.

Certain attractions (such as the soft play area) may incur an additional cost. 

Jupiter Artland

Our pass for Jupiter Artland allows entry for up to 4 people aged 5 and above. Children 4 and under can enter for free.

Award-winning contemporary sculpture garden located just outside Edinburgh. Jupiter Artland has grown into one of Scotland’s most significant arts organisations set over 120 acres of meadow, woodland and indoor gallery spaces, Jupiter Artland is home to over 30 permanent and unique site-specific sculptures.

Certain attractions may incur an additional cost. 

THIS PASS MUST BE BOOKED AT LEAST 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE.

How to book our community passes

Pick a date

Use the booking system below to select a day that you’d like to visit one of the available attractions. Is it a special birthday? Or a cause for celebration? Please note, the passes can book out far in advance for school holidays.

Due to high demand, families may apply for a pass once per week, with a maximum of two applications per month.
If additional passes are available at the end of the day for the following day, families are welcome to book extra times.

You must be registered with CoWL to be allocated a pass. Please complete our registration form before booking a community pass.

Once you’ve arranged your chosen day, a member of our team will send you your tickets and off you go.
