Carers of West Lothian’s support groups offer the chance to meet fellow carers in a similar situation to you. We offer a range of groups that reflect the diverse nature of the carers we support. Have a look below to see our current line-up of sessions.

    Carers Coffee Morning

    Every Wednesday from 10 to 11:30 | Sycamore House, Livingston

    Our weekly coffee morning, open to all carers! Come and join us for a wee catch-up over a cuppa. It’s a great chance to meet other carers in a similar situation to you.

    Online Carers Coffee Morning

    Every Wednesday from 11:45 to 12:30
    via Zoom

    The online version of our carers coffee morning. Drop in and say hi from the comfort of your own home! If you’d like the Zoom codes, please get in touch.

    Carers Mental Health Support Group

    First Monday of every month from 18:00 to 19:30 | Sycamore House or Online

    This support group is designed for carers who look after someone with a mental health condition. We alternate sessions between peer support and a guest speaker.

  • Armadale Cuppa & Chat

    Second Thursday of every month from 10:30 to 12 | Colinshiel Court, Armadale

    Our coffee morning for all Armadale-based carers. A friendly group to meet people in the local area.

    Carers Evening Support Group

    Last Wednesday of every month from 18:30 to 20:00 | Sycamore House

    Our evening support group is an opportunity to meet and chat to fellow carers. We alternate between activities or guest speakers with peer support.

    Dementia Support Group

    First Friday of every month from 10:00 to 12:00 | Sycamore House

    This support group is for people who care for someone with dementia. It is a relaxed and friendly group of people who care for loved ones through various stages of their dementia diagnosis.

    Bereavement Support Group

    Second last Friday of every month from 10:30 to 12 | Sycamore House

    Peer support group for bereaved carers. It’s a relaxed and friendly group open to all to come along to. If you’d like to find out more about our bereavement support, click here.

    Pasda Support Group

    First Wednesday of every month from 19:00 to 20:30 | Sycamore House

    Designed for parents, partners, siblings and carers of autistic adults over the age of 16, the group is a great opportunity to meet people in similar circumstances.

    Run in collaboration with our partners at Pasda.

    Parent Space

    Various times & locations throughout West Lothian. Find out more here.

    Designed for those who look after a child with additional needs, Parent Space is a drop-in session where anyone can come and find out more about the support CoWL offers. It’s perfect if you’re looking to have a wee chat, and meet some other parent carers in a similar position to you.
