Understanding memory changes

Noticing changes in a loved one or friends memory can feel worrying and uncertain but help and guidance are available every step of the way. Whether these changes are part of normal ageing or something more, knowing where to turn for advice can make all the difference.

That’s why we’re proud to share a series of videos created by our patron, Professor June Andrews, an internationally recognised expert in dementia care. In these videos, Professor Andrews offers clear, practical advice on memory difficulties, understanding dementia, and finding the right support for you and your family.

Why these videos matter:
When someone you care about experiences memory difficulties, it can raise questions and concerns. These resources are designed to give you tips and guidance to help increase your confidence and reduce uncertainty.

Take a few minutes to watch these videos and discover practical, compassionate advice to help you navigate this journey with confidence.

The support MIST offers primarily focuses on the carer however we can offer home visits to ensure individuals remain independent and well at home.
